Years of plucking, waxing, or the effects of age and health can leave your eyebrows looking thin and uneven, making you feel self-conscious every time you look in the mirror. While makeup, pencils, and tattoos can temporarily fill in your brows, these options are often costly, time-consuming, and can even harm your natural hair follicles.

FoLix is a revolutionary non-ablative fractional laser system using hair stimulation technology, providing effective, safe, and simple treatment for women and men.
Folix Laser is the first FDA-cleared fractional laser for treating hair loss, utilizing advanced FLX™ Technology. It works by delivering precise laser energy deep into the skin, a process called dermal coagulation, which gently heats tissue without harming the skin’s surface. This triggers the body’s natural healing response, improving circulation, and increasing oxygen and nutrient delivery to the skin and hair follicles. As a result, hair and scalp health are enhanced. Additionally, Folix stimulates cytokine activity, essential for cellular communication, which promotes new hair growth and strengthens existing hair.
If you are looking for a non-surgical, non pharmaceutical solution, FoLix is the answer!
Patterned hair loss, or androgenic alopecia affects about 80 million Americans. It increases with age with 40% by age 40 and 80% by age 60.
Androgenic alopecia is a chronic and progressive condition with a paucity of good non-surgical treatment options with low side-effect profiles. There are only three FDA approved treatments available to treat AA which are oral finasteride, topical minoxidil and now fractional laser therapy.
While medications finasteride and minoxidil have shown good results, they only treat one facet of the problem. Finasteride was FDA approved for men only. It works by inhibiting the hormone that is responsible for hair loss in men. Unfortunately, it takes 12 months to see the full effect and it has to be used continuously to grow hair then maintain the hair you have grown. There are also unpleasant side-effects associated with finasteride such as depression and sexual dysfunction.
Topical minoxidil has been approved to treat AA in men and women. Its a vasodilator that works by increasing blood flow to the scalp. Just like finasteride, Minoxidil takes about 12 months to see the full-effects and must be used continuously. Minoxidil has been known to cause contact dermatitis, hypertrichosis and headaches.
While the above treatments help, it can take a year to see the effects and each treatment holds the risk of unpleasant side effects.
During a treatment session, you can expect a simple and comfortable process. The scalp will first be thoroughly cleaned to prepare the area. Then, the Folix Laser device will be applied methodically across the scalp, emitting gentle pulses of laser light. The treatment is typically brief, with sessions lasting around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated.
During treatment, you will wear protective glasses and recline as the FoLix handpiece is passed over your scalp.
After FoLix, no downtime is needed: many of our patients come in for treatment during their lunch break and immediately return to work. Unlike some other hair loss treatments, FoLix doesn’t require any aftercare.
You may begin to see results after the first session, but for long-lasting outcomes, completing the full treatment course is essential. This typically involves 5 to 8 sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Each patient receives a customized treatment plan, designed by our specialists, to ensure the best possible results. This personalized approach ensures that Folix Laser treatment effectively promotes hair growth and improves overall scalp health.
120 participant results measured in 1-month and 3-months follow ups following last treatment session, compared to baseline.
FoLix is the first FDA-cleared fractional laser for hair loss, harnessing the power of hair laser technology to rejuvenate your scalp and stimulate hair follicles.
In studies led by industry experts, patients who underwent hair loss treatment with FoLix showed:
Each FoLix treatment session lasts approximately 30 minutes, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule.
Typically, patients need between 4 to 6 sessions, spaced about four weeks apart to achieve optimal results.
Patients generally report minimal discomfort during FoLix sessions, often describing the experience as a warm prickling sensation.
The hair growth cycle is long, so when it comes to treating hair loss, patience is key. Initial signs of improvement, such as reduced shedding and the appearance of baby hairs, can be noticed throughout the treatment series.
FoLix is FDA-cleared for men and women with Fitzpatrick skin type I to IV who are experiencing hair loss. You may not be a good candidate for FoLix if you have been diagnosed with cancer, have a history of skin cancer in the treatment area, have an active infection, or have a fungal or bacterial disease in the treatment area.
