Thank you for selecting Rejuve Anti Aging. We’re thrilled to accompany you on your weight loss journey. To assist you in achieving your goals, we’ve compiled the following guide, addressing common questions. Feel free to reach out to us by phone if you have any further inquiries.
Tirzepatide is the generic version of Tirzepatide. It is compounded in an FDA monitored pharmacy and I am choosing this medication over the monthly Tirzepatide program. I have been fully informed of both medications.
We have partnered with ACA in Nashville, Tennessee to provide all our patients Tirzepatide medication. Your medication will be shipped to you from them.
ACA Pharmacy’s phone number is 844-344-3060 and their address is 525 Metroplex Dr. Nashvill, TN 37211.
Please contact ACA Pharmacy for this information. Once we send the prescription to them we do not have any way of knowing the status of your medication.
Your medication should be stored in the refrigerator when not in use. If you happen to be traveling, it does NOT need to be packed on ice. Rather, just place it in the refrigerator whenever you get to your destination. If left out for more than 48 hours, please contact your provider to replace your prescription, which will have to be paid for in full.
Tirzepatide is a once weekly injection. You may take it in the morning, afternoon, or evening; whatever works best for your schedule. However, we do recommend taking on an empty stomach.
Don’t panic! The medication has a 4 day window of time in which to take your dose and stay on track with your dosing regimen. If you are 5 days past your dosing date, then the recommendation is to skip that current week and resume the next week on your regular dosing day.
Nausea and constipation are the most common; however, you may experience some other gastrointestinal side effects such as indigestion, vomiting and diarrhea (they are less common).
Nausea is the most common of all side effects. Sometimes you will experience nausea because you are eating too much or even possibly eating too little. You need to make sure that you are at least eating 1,200 calories per day. The nausea is usually transient and resolved in 24-48 hours. If it persists or is severe, then please contact our office so that we can prescribe anti-nausea medication.
If you are having vomiting then please contact us promptly so that we can prescribe medication to help. Do NOT take another dose of Tirzepatide until you call the office and are advised when to restart.
1. Make sure that you are drinking plenty of fluids to help you stay hydrated and prevent constipation. 2. Exercise 3-4 times per week will also help to prevent constipation. 3. Eating 25 grams daily of dietary fiber will help prevent constipation. 4. You may take Metamucil or a stool softener if needed.
Diarrhea is defined as 3 or more loose or watery stools per day. While diarrhea is not a common side effect, it may still occur. It is very important that you stay well hydrated. If you are having diarrhea, then please call the office for further instruction. Do NOT take another dose of Tirzepatide until you have spoken with our office.
Refills will discussed between you and the provider. You will have to return to the office for follow ups throughout your care. However, most refills can be done over the phone. You are responsible for calling in to request your refill. If you are on the monthly auto draft, your refill will not be ordered unless your payment has been received. We recommend making your first auto draft 3 weeks from when your first order, so you are able to stay on track without running out of medication. EACH PRESCRIPTION SHOULD LAST 4 WEEKS.
